Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprise, Hugh Hefner, who is notorious for having romantic relationships with the girls three times or even four times younger than his age, has had a recent breakup with the 25-year-old model, singer and Playboy Playmate of the Month of December 2009, Crystal Harris.

Miss Harris was about to be third wife of the magazine publisher but a few days prior to the wedding, it was called off and the 85-year-old Hefner posted on his Twitter webpage that the wedding was off as his bride-to-be had a change of heart.

Harris posted on her webpage that after careful consideration she had decided to call off her wedding with Hefner. She added that she still respected him a lot and wished him very best in the future. She also requested media to give each of them some privacy and time for themselves.

The couple was engaged on Christmas Eve and was expected to walk down the aisle in Playboy Mansion. The marriage would have been the first for the young model and the third for Hugh Hefner.

The breakup was smooth with just one hiccup; Miss Harris was to grace the cover of July Playboy as Mrs Hugh Hefner and after the incident, she still made the cover draped in Hugh’s trademark gear, a silk robe and captain’s hat, but with an addition of giant red sticker that reads, Runaway Bride in the Issue.
