The Obama Administration has imposed further strict sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran that also include the freezing of its assets in the Central Bank of the United States. The action has further strengthened the belief that the Obama Administration is preparing for a possible Israeli attack on the Iranian facilities.

Mohammed Khazeee, the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations has however dismissed all such reports saying that he doesn’t think this is going to happen. In an interview Mr. Khazee told the National Public Radio that Iran is so strong that if Israel attacks it then the consequences will be terrible not only for Israel but for all those who helped.

There are many wise people still in the world who will forbid them from doing such an insane thing. With every passing day the United States and other western nations have been tightening their sanctions on Iran while pressurizing it to be more transparent in its nuclear ambitions, although Iran has always denied that it is perusing the development of nuclear weapons.

Another media report has said that the world leaders had genuine concerns that an Israeli attack on Iran was imminent and many fear that such an offensive will result in greater global instability, terrorism and economic debacle. In recent weeks some really high-level foreign dignitaries around the globe including the UN secretary General Ban Ki-Moon have visited Israel asking that the diplomatic process should be given ample time for the resolution of conflict.

However all these efforts have failed to change the Israeli resolve of attacking Iran and Leon Panetta the American defense Secretary has said that an Israeli attack on Iran is imminent in the recent months.
