The same report also stated that pills are generally ineffective in treating patients experiencing severe nausea or vomiting because of the difficulty in swallowing or keeping a pill down and the slow onset of the drug effect. Therefore, they conclude that cannabinoid inhalation is effective in treating the nausea that is caused by chemotherapy.
