Apple Inc. Facing Two Lawsuits- Nasdaq:AAPL

The computer giant Apple Inc., is getting unwanted attention this week as two lawsuits have been filed against its iPhone devices. The company is accused of sharing personal information of users with advertising networks without permission of users.
Along with Apple, eight manufacturers of some famous applications have been charged with this violation of laws which includes Dictionary.com, the Weather Channel, internet radio service Pandora, the messaging app textPlus 4, as well as the makers of entertainment or game apps Talking Tom Cat, Paper Toss, Pumpkin Maker and Pimple Popper Lite. According to a recent report these eight are not the only ones involved in this crime; there are several other app which are sharing personal information but only these eight have been charged and will face the court as this time.
Jonathan Lalo, the claimant spear heading the lawsuit, has been using four of those applications on his iPhone and said that there are several iPhone customers who have fallen victim to this violation.
Three Texas men and a woman filed a lawsuit against the company claiming their personal information has been compromised and their online activity has been watched without their knowledge through their iPhones.
Mobile application data sharing differs from website. Through files called cookies a user can be tracked but the user has the option of deleting it whereas users cannot hide or alter UDID embedded in Smartphones. The smartphone app can access UDID.
