Toyota scholarship program with donation resumes

The American Indian College Fund has brought a renewal grant of $75,000 from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. in order to continue the Toyota Motor Sales Tribal College Scholarship Program.
Each year, the program provides scholarship assistance to more than 100 students, helping them work toward obtaining their degrees at various tribal universites and colleges across the nation.
The Fund, in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. has been administering the program for over a decade. Nearly 1,000 American Indian tribal college students has been supported since the year 2000.
Along with funding the scholarship program, Toyota matches donations designed to the Fund by Toyota employees.
The Fund’s annual Flame of Hope Gala, toyota also has sponsored which raises awareness and funds to help more American Indian students achieve their goals of a higher education.
