Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOR) today announced that NASDAQ has halted trading of Acorda common stock. International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today that in conjunction with an assessment of the company’s long term strategic goals, including increased focus on gaming content and efficient use of capital resources, it has completed a review of several of its strategic investments and partnerships. Based on this review, IGT expects to record the following charges to its fourth quarter results, which it will report on November 5, 2009.
AspenBio Pharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: APPY) today announced the closing of its previously announced public offering of 5,155,000 shares of its common stock at $1.70 per share. The aggregate number of shares of common stock sold reflects the exercise in full by the underwriter of its over-allotment option to purchase 672,391 additional shares of common stock.
