Software Update a disaster for iPhone 3GS:

IPhone 4 issues have made Apple lose its great reputation. Apple is expected to take a huge loss this year because of their technology problems. Apple came up with a solution in the form of bumpers which it thought would satisfy its customers but unfortunately the reputation of Apple has already been affected due to the software update in iPhone 3G.
Customers were disappointed finding their handsets having an efficiency loss after the software update. Once the Operating System Update is installed, the set gets locked up continually. Web browsing becomes slow. A lot of queries from customers have been reported and Apple needs to prepare a satisfying answer.
Naturally consumers are inclined to just smash their sets after being irritated during use of the iPhone. And what is upsetting their customers even more Apple wants to charge customers for fixing Apples problem.
Logging on to their site to file a complaint consumers are asked for a fee which Apple incorrectly believes they are justified is requesting as in the company’s view the warranty for the device has ended and thus a fee is required.
This is a good way to lose consumer confidence and watch a company falling in the market then the next step when it is no longer able to sell products may be bankruptcy
Disappointed customers look forward to the jailbreak for iPhone 4 and 3GS and iOS 4.0.1 is expected soon. One of the user said ‘It keeps telling me to reinsert the SIM card, it drops calls … one call last night that went for about 30 minutes dropped out seven times,” .
The iOS4 update has proved to be a disaster for the set. “Constantly crashing, every morning when the alarm goes off it reboots itself [and] the browser is so slow it’s useless.” It’s time for Apple to save its reputation if at all possible with their fee attitude. After all Apple stands to lose its loyal customer base, if it cares?
