Las Vegas, NV December 31, 2010 (CRWENEWSWIRE) - Tokyo based Sony Corp. filed patent breach claims on December 28, 2010 against LG Electronics Inc., the world’s third largest manufacturer of mobile phones. Sony Corp. filed the lawsuit with the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington, which has the power of blocking LG Electronics Inc. from shipping mobile phones into the US in light of alleged violations of US laws. The lawsuit was also filed in federal court in Los Angeles.

In India, a Citibank employee has been arrested by the police on account of tricking people and committing fraud to the tune of millions of dollars. The employee worked for the global bank in Gurgaon, a wealthy suburb of Delhi. The allegations of the suspected fraud surfaced earlier this month.
