American actress and model, Jaime Pressly, who was married to entertainment lawyer, Simran Singh, in 2008, filed for divorce after 16 months of marriage.
The 33-year-old Golden Globe nominated actress cited irreconcilable differences to be the reason of the divorce and the papers were filed in Los Angeles Supreme Court on January 21.
A source told Us Magazine that the couple married too quickly, Singh seemed like a good guy in the beginning but had major problems with his ego and put her down for everything. He used to pick fights with her wife on minute matters.

American actor and musician, Johnny Depp, known for his eccentric roles in a wide variety of dramatic and fantasy films, has recently revealed that he has bought a new house in the Italian city of Venice.
According to MSN News, the star bought this house because he fell in love with the city while filming his new movie, The Tourist, opposite Angelina Jolie.

Today, on Monday the first of two charter planes carrying citizens of the United States out of chaotic Egypt, landed in Cyprus, the beginning of what could be a lengthy evacuation effort amid escalating unrest across the country.
According to the US State Department, at least 2 flights carrying 219 Americans between them, were able to take off before Egypt's 3 pm curfew went into effect.
According to the reports the first flight, carrying 42 people, landed in Cyprus, and the second, carrying 177 Americans, took off Monday for Athens, Greece, but had not yet landed.

The American Indian College Fund has brought a renewal grant of $75,000 from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. in order to continue the Toyota Motor Sales Tribal College Scholarship Program.
Each year, the program provides scholarship assistance to more than 100 students, helping them work toward obtaining their degrees at various tribal universites and colleges across the nation.
The Fund, in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. has been administering the program for over a decade. Nearly 1,000 American Indian tribal college students has been supported since the year 2000.

German authorities said that ten people have died after a passenger train collided with a goods train in eastern Germany.
Authorities said that up to 20 other people were seriously injured in the accident, which occurred at Hordorf, near Oschersleben, in Saxony-Anhalt, on Saturday.
